Transparency Notice on the Use of Artificial Intelligence

Licht-Kraus GmbH uses artificial intelligence as a supporting tool when creating and improving content. This includes, in particular, text, images, visualisations, translations and similar editorial or design work.
Applications used include ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Adobe Firefly, DeepL, T Lab – AI Language Translate, and AI tools for image optimisation and enlargement. Depending on the task, comparable programs or additional functions may also be used.
Texts and translations
AI applications can help us write, structure, revise or translate text. The resulting content is reviewed by editors before publication and adjusted for technical or linguistic accuracy where necessary.
Despite careful checks, errors, inaccuracies or ambiguous wording cannot be ruled out entirely, particularly in automatically translated or AI-assisted content. For technical information, the relevant product data, manufacturer information and data sheets therefore take precedence.
Images and visualisations
Some images may have been created, supplemented, enhanced, isolated, upscaled or retouched with the help of artificial intelligence.
Some illustrations show example room settings, visualised lighting effects or simulated lighting scenarios. They are provided to illustrate the subject and are not equivalent to a binding lighting plan or calculation.
The actual effect of a light can depend on room size, installation location, surfaces, daylight, light colour, brightness and other surrounding conditions. Screen displays can also reproduce colours and brightness differently.
The relevant product descriptions, technical specifications, dimension drawings and manufacturer documents remain authoritative.
Human responsibility
Artificial intelligence does not replace our technical judgment or editorial responsibility. Licht-Kraus GmbH selects, checks and publishes the content.
In this context, AI applications do not make independent decisions about orders, prices, the conclusion of contracts, creditworthiness or comparable matters.
Data protection and third-party rights
When using external AI, image and translation services, we ensure that personal or confidential information is processed only to the extent necessary and legally permitted.
We also take account of copyright, trademark rights, personal rights and other third-party rights in AI-assisted content. If you notice an error or possible infringement in any content, please let us know.
Updates
The applications used and the technical possibilities may continue to evolve. This transparency notice will therefore be updated when significant changes occur.
